Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Service Mesh Engineer to support, manage, and optimize Istio service mesh environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, cloud-native networking, and microservices architecture, with hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Istio in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Istio service mesh for Kubernetes-based applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot service mesh components, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement security best practices, including mTLS, authorization policies, and authentication mechanisms within Istio.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to optimize microservices communication and observability using Istio.
