Senior Radiation Protection Technician

Your Role

• Monitor radiological activities ensuring protection during routine and special operations.
• Conduct comprehensive surveys to assess all forms of radiation hazards.
• Enforce strict access controls within contamination zones to maintain safety.
• Execute decontamination procedures and interpret results to prevent further spread.
• Advise on and ensure proper selection of Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) and respiratory equipment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience that includes work at nuclear power plants or participation in at least two refueling outages. Alternatively, candidates with suitable training and plant exposure may also be considered.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in English.
• Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems in dynamic situations.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
