Senior Purchasing Officer (Cost Control)

**Job Purpose**

You will own the strategic sourcing, cost management, and supplier relationships for PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services). Your goal is to secure high-performing electronics partners, drive cost savings, and ensure zero production disruptions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ **Category Strategy:** Build and execute sourcing plans for PCBA and electronics contract manufacturing to achieve the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
+ **Supplier Management:** Lead business reviews (QBRs) with EMS partners. Track and improve supplier metrics for Quality, Cost, and On-Time Delivery (OTD).
+ **Cost & Negotiation:** Negotiate annual pricing, manufacturing fees (VA), and component Bill of Materials (BOM) costs. Identify savings through benchmarking.
+ **NPI Support:** Work with R&D and Engineering to source components early in the design phase, avoiding End-of-Life (EOL) or obsolete parts.
