About the role:
A leading engineering contractor client of mine are on the lookout for a Senior Protection and Control Design Engineer . This leading Tier One contractor in the T&D space work with regional, national and international electricity network owners and operators to provide technical engineering solutions across the full spectrum of the electricity grid, including overhead lines, cabling, substations and distribution networks.
The main function of the role is to engineer the control and protection designs for electrical substation projects up to a voltage of 400kV, working on key electrical infrastructure projects for National Grid. The role also includes the planning and procurement responsibilities as needed for the delivery of substation projects.
Package:
- Salary - 60k-70k
- Location - Flexible: Various offices (hybrid) or remote considered
