Senior Project Manager - Civil

This position will engage on a wide range of municipal projects with a focus on the project management, design, construction supervision and contract administration of projects within the City Projects Department.

This position will manage the projects from start to completion and to ensure the projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design and construction management for infrastructure and urban design projects incorporating civil engineering and sustainable initiative in drainage upgrades, road refurbishments, traffic treatments, open space, landscape enhancement and urban design improvements

• Ensure all surveys, designs and construction activities are completed according to the annual works program

• Maximise project-delivery rate and minimise delays by planning and early procurement

• Monitor financial performance, including forecasting and report on over expenditures or savings
