Senior Procurement Specialist - Cables

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and sourcing of electrical cables, wires and related products for project and stock requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cable manufacturers and suppliers across UAE and GCC.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations, negotiate pricing, contracts and delivery schedules.
• Monitor cable market trends and raw material prices (copper, aluminum) and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure timely procurement compliance with project specifications and maintain uninterrupted supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of procurement experience in electrical cables, wires and cable accessories.
• Proven experience in Electrical Trading, EPC, Manufacturing or Infrastructure sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of LV / MV / HV cables and international standards (IEC, BS, ASTM).
