Senior Policy Officer, Harm Reduction Unit

About the role:
The Senior Policy Officer, Harm Reduction supports the design, delivery and implementation of priority harm reduction initiatives within the Victorian alcohol and other drug (AOD) system. The role contributes to policy development and operational delivery across key projects, including the Victorian Pill Testing Service (VPTS) and statewide drug monitoring and early warning systems, to strengthen drug market surveillance and inform timely public health action.
Working collaboratively across the AOD Policy, Reform and Programs branch and with internal and external stakeholders, the role supports translation of policy and reform initiatives into practical implementation, contributes to program monitoring and performance reporting, and assists in the development of evidence informed approaches to reduce AOD-related harms.
