Senior Planner

Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Director, Planning, the Senior Planner works closely with internal customers and stakeholders to develop proposals/project plans which support clinical, support service and administrative change proposals and business cases.

Performs these planning activities by assessing current and future workload, functions, standard operating procedures, processes and recognized standards, and then assesses against the appropriate program, space and process standards in order to develop a plan to meet the program needs.

Uses their comprehensive understanding of clinical, support service and administrative program planning, space planning, furniture and clinical equipment planning and coordination skills to develop functional programs, with the goal of reliably informing a capital plan.
