Senior Mechanical Engineer - Telescope Systems & Site Ops

Big Science Sweden is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the CTAO‑South project at the La Silla Paranal Observatory in Chile. This role focuses on overseeing the procurement, installation, and operation of mechanical systems, including power generators and handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will also assist in the installation of Cherenkov telescopes and contribute to maintenance operations. Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering and site operations experience are essential for success in this position.
