Senior Mechanical Engineer - Telescope Systems & Site Ops

Big Science Sweden is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the CTAO‑South project at the La Silla Paranal Observatory in Chile. This role involves overseeing the procurement, installation, and operation of mechanical systems, including power generators and handling equipment.

The successful candidate will also facilitate the installation of Cherenkov telescopes and assist in maintenance operations, requiring a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, along with site operations experience.
