Senior Marine Structural Engineer (Outfitting)

Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of engineers in hull and accommodation outfitting design, covering arrangement, calculations, procurement, detail design, bill of materials, and 3D modeling for tenders and ongoing projects. Prepare and review technical specifications for outfitting equipment and materials, evaluate vendor bids, and oversee procurement. Develop and review layouts and foundation designs in line with specifications, class, and statutory rules for tender, class, owner's approval, and construction. Ensure compliance with fire, safety, watertight integrity, lifesaving, mooring, towing, anchoring, and accommodation layout requirements. Review and manage designs, proposals, and technical inputs from external consultants and equipment suppliers, ensuring integration with in-house engineering teams.
