Senior Manufacturing Biotechnologist

The Opportunity: This position has overall accountability for completing the manufacturing tasks as scheduled while fully complying with current Good Manufacturing Practices and Roche’s corporate principles, quality policies and standards.

• Support the Biochemical Manufacturing Department by working effectively within the group to meet department goals and objectives.
• Complete assigned tasks such as preparing small equipment, cleaning and sterilizing vessels, preparing solutions, monitoring operation of biochemical processing equipment, raw material sampling, dispensing and environmental sampling, and maintaining housekeeping of the areas in accordance with safety, cGMP and biochemical manufacturing guidelines.
• Prioritize tasks and document work per approved manufacturing formulae.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems.
• Support process improvement efforts.
