**POSITION PURPOSE**

Leads strategic sourcing activities for complex medium to large initiatives with the ability of achieving significant cost reductions, supplanted with year-over-year cost and productivity improvements in the total cost of goods and services procured while maintaining or improving product quality and vendor service levels. Leads, facilitates, assembles and manages cross functional teams across the System with Regional Health Ministries (RHMs) to drive system-wide priorities, achieve cost reductions, service and quality excellence, and knowledge transfer for replication of “best practice.
