Senior Mainframe Engineer

Position Description:

Hiring a Mainframe Developer with strong skills in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 to develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications. Experience with Agile teams and troubleshooting is required. Knowledge of VSAM, IMS DB, Endevor, APIs, and AWS is a plus.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using COBOL, DB2 Stored Procedures, and CICS modules
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and production support activities
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution using debugging and monitoring tools
• Work with VSAM, IMS DB, and DB2 for data processing and management
• Manage code promotion, package creation, and deployment activities using Endevor
