Responsibilities:
Determine the extent and acceptability of interchangeable/substitute items and recommend any modification necessary to the equipment.
Determine the effect of changes in maintenance on supply chain.
Asses and advice on the impact of equipment support program efforts Coast Guard wide.
Apply ten () elements of logistics to SBPL supported assets.
Draft Equipment Integrated Logistics Support Plans for systems and equipment supported by SBPL.
Apply principles of Reliability-Centered Maintenance and various standards such as MIL-P- Planned Maintenance System, SAE RCM Standard: JA1, ABS RCM, and MSG 3 to SBPL supported assets
