Senior Linux Systems Engineer – High Availability 3rd Line

Ascent People Ltd is recruiting a Senior Linux Administrator (Systems Administrator) in the North West. The role focuses on 3rd line support for high availability across development, test and production environments, serving over 250 users across two sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration, scripting, and experience with Tomcat/Apache/MySQL/PostgreSQL, plus automation via Ansible/Puppet/Chef. AWS and networking knowledge are a plus, with on‑site parking available.
