The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing compliance support regarding regulations relevant to the operations and conduct of Bunge’s business globally. While the primary focus is on economic sanctions, the scope also includes anti‑money laundering (AML), anti‑boycott, and anti‑corruption.

Principal Accountabilities

Oversight of Screening and Due Diligence

• Oversee the conducting of KYC diligence for sanctioned jurisdictions and other sensitive areas.
• Oversee screening for trade finance activities of Bunge Financial Services (BFS), including counterparty due diligence review and vessel screening.
• Conduct risk assessments on counterparties related to sanctions, money laundering, corruption, fraud, or other concerns.
