Job Responsibilities
- Inspect guest and colleague garments for any defects or damage and notify the supervisor before cleaning, when necessary.
- Separate and sort soiled garments by colour and fabric type.
- Apply appropriate spotting chemicals to garments correctly for stain treatment.
- Ensure high-quality pressing of garments, ensuring proper alignment of linings and avoiding overlaps in shirts and pants.
- Report to the Laundry Manager on any garment damaged due to washing, pressing or any other laundry process and stained garment.
- Check on the garments that are to be sent back to each guest so as to ensure that the type and number of garments returned are accurate.
- Co‑ordinate the guest laundry flow, from the collection of guest laundry to the delivery of laundry to the respective guest (Valet).
- Perform any work as and when assigned by the Management.
