Senior Java Developer - Electronic Trading

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join a well‑established FX electronic trading platform project. The ideal candidate will be a highly autonomous professional with strong hands‑on experience in Java Core (Java SE), multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.

A solid understanding of JVM internals is essential, including Garbage Collection, Java Memory Model, JIT compilation, and cache‑oblivious algorithms. The role requires experience designing highly scalable, low‑latency applications, as well as successfully modernising and refactoring legacy architectures.

Part of the platform is developed in .NET, therefore previous exposure to C# would be considered a strong advantage.

This is a multi‑faceted role involving requirements gathering and analysis, development, testing, validation with business stakeholders, release activities, and participation in L3 production support.
