Project Scope

Reporting to the Director, 1GX Strategic and Operational Excellence, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of IT projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, takes minutes, records any risks into the register, and monitors and summarizes the progress of projects. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of projects.

The position is responsible for facilitating the decision-making process of executive management. Decisions need to be made based on the evidence of the situation, not based on theory relating to proposed and ongoing initiatives and projects.
