Senior Housekeeper

The Senior Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the standards of cleanliness, product presentation and customer care, as outlined in the standards of performance manual are maintained at all times. To deputise in the absence of the head housekeeper.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To deal efficiently with all guest enquiries and requirements
• To perform all tasks to a consistent standard as detailed in the housekeeping SOP
• To minimize operating cost by using all equipment and products in accordance with the Hotel’s manufacturer’s guidelines
• To ensure that all team members work to the standard outlined in the SOP manual
• To ensure that hotel policies and departmental policies are adhered to
• To have a full working knowledge of all areas within the hotel which are covered by the housekeeping department
