Senior Group Underwriter

Job Overview

A Senior Group Underwriter will manage risk selection and pricing for group benefits including Group Life, Disability, Health, Dental and Critical Illness offerings for SunSolutions market (50+ lives). This role involves renewing existing business, developing quotes, and working closely with the sales team to meet profitability objectives and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete renewals, quotations and respond to client requests within service standards
• Develop a strong understanding of our products and services, underwriting guidelines, systems and tools, pricing methodologies, and the marketplace
• Assess risk and determine the price, financial and contractual conditions of Sun Life's Group Benefits offering for each Plan Sponsor
