We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established equestrian organisation for an experienced Senior Groom. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and dedicated equestrian professional to play a key role in the day-to-day management of a busy yard, ensuring exceptional standards of horse care while supporting and leading a small team.
The successful candidate will be passionate about horse welfare, thrive in a hands-on environment, and be confident managing horses of varying temperaments.
Key Responsibilities
Horse Care
* Deliver exceptional daily care, including feeding, grooming, mucking out, turnout, and general stable management.
* Monitor horse health and wellbeing, reporting concerns and administering treatments as required.
* Prepare horses for exercise, veterinary and farrier visits, transport, and competitions.
* Maintain accurate health and treatment records.
Yard Management
