Overview
Senior Geotechnical Engineer position at Tetra Tech located in Vancouver, BC. Salary range $130K to $190K per annum.
Responsibilities
- Develop sound technical solutions to lead the design and evaluation of challenging geotechnical applications, including foundations in seismically sensitive environments, deep foundations, shallow foundations, soft/compressible soils, steep slopes, and other issues across BC and Western Canada.
- Lead seismic deformation assessments, evaluating settlements, lateral deformations, and their effects on foundations.
- Prepare technical letters and reports and help clients understand options, risks, benefits, and opportunities.
- Participate in the development of proposals and pursuits for small to very large projects.
- Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate staff members and co‑op students.
