Job Description:
- Lead the design and delivery of fire engineering solutions for multidisciplinary building projects
- Prepare rational fire designs, including smoke control, sprinkler systems, and stair pressurisation strategies
- Manage projects from concept through to construction, ensuring quality and compliance throughout
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Review technical documentation, tender packages, and project deliverables
- Conduct site inspections and provide construction support where required
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineers and technical staff
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years' experience in Fire Engineering within a consulting engineering environment
- Extensive knowledge of SANS fire regulations and performance-based fire engineering design
