Senior Estimator (Calgary)

Job Description

Senior Estimator required at our Calgary Office with a hybrid work mode. The Estimating Manager reports to the Project Controls Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency in the use of the company estimating systems and processes.
• Recognize, understand and apply estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for compiling all types of estimates.
• Recognize how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact the estimate and quantify the impact.
• Assist in analyzing and using estimates to predict key project issues.
• Prepare and/or coordinate preparation of full project estimates and provide complete conceptual and final estimating input.
• Understand construction means, methods, and sequences (single discipline).
• Perform all aspects of estimating.
• Assist in the preparation of the Estimate Plan.
