Senior Engineering Project Manager at Fonterra

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our Central and Upper South Island Projects team. The role involves leading a variety of complex engineering projects that significantly improve the sustainability, safety, quality, and reliability of assets within our operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of complex, high‑value projects through all stages of delivery—from conception, scoping, and concept design to detailed design, contracting, implementation, commissioning and handover, including post‑completion support.
• Mentor and guide Engineering Project Managers within the team.
• Coordinate with senior leaders, stakeholders and collaborators to deliver impactful results aligned with Fonterra’s long‑term goals.
• Lead large, complex projects and deliver strategic initiatives.
• Oversee risk management, cost control and schedule management.
