Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Our Waihi Operation in the North Island of New Zealand is an underground gold mine that supports a growing project near the existing operation.

A new position has been created to provide technical support and leadership for the site’s process control and automation systems, with a strong focus on industrial networking, DCS and PLC platforms, and PI System/PI Vision maintenance. The role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, integrity, and performance of these systems, supporting fault‑finding and continuous improvement, and ensuring control infrastructure remains fit for purpose.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the site’s DCS, PLC, HMI, industrial network and PI System/PI Vision infrastructure to ensure reliability, availability and data integrity.
