Job Description

The Senior Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & Humanitarian Emergency Affairs Coordinator plays a critical field-level leadership role in strengthening disaster preparedness, readiness, and response systems across Nepal’s federal, provincial, and local governance structures.

Under a US government-funded initiative, this position is responsible for leading the design, coordination, and implementation of DRR and emergency preparedness activities together with partner NGOs while ensuring rapid, principled, and effective humanitarian response in the event of a disaster as a technical person providing the contribution on community-level project-related intervention.
