Senior DevOps

This position requires in‑person collaboration up to five days a week, with possible changes based on business requirements.

Overview of role

Senior DevOps reporting into our Digital office. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results‑driven, and able to work in an agile environment while designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting infrastructure as code to deliver APIs to our users.

Responsibilities

• Apply industry-standard processes, practices, and techniques.
• Lead the development team and business stakeholders to develop appropriate software solutions that meet WestJet’s business, technical, and quality requirements.
• Coach and mentor other dev team members.
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance systems that support the digital functions of the company.
