Job Description
- An understanding of the characteristics of projects over a project life cycle.
- Good knowledge of the main procurement methods and their application with respect to the “tactical procurement” of small to large sized buildings.
- Knowledge and understanding of value engineering.
- Business development experience, particularly in the context of identifying opportunities with existing clients.
- Producing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
- Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
- Tendering and procurement, including managing the prequalification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, conducting pre tender estimates, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.
