Senior Underwriting Consultant, Advanced Underwriting

Provides advanced underwriting support to PPI advisors, managing complex qualifying new business cases from initiation through final underwriting approval, and represents the interests of both PPI advisors and PPI carriers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to queries from advisors and marketing staff regarding eligibility criteria, underwriting requirements, and provide consultation options and recommendations that address the client’s needs.
• Act as the initial point of underwriting expertise for submitted and preliminary Advanced Underwriting eligible cases, maintaining collaborative communication with advisors and carriers to meet pre‑established turnaround timelines.
• Review medical and/or financial requirements received in preliminary assessment, current applications or rating reviews, including LHEs and PPI obtained evidence such as APS reports, expert interviews, blood/urine tests, ...
