As part of the transition to Beneva, the largest mutual insurance company in Canada, your role will be pivotal in managing medium to complex risks with a focus on operational excellence. You'll play a key part in mentoring your team while promoting positive change and innovation within our commercial lines sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee portfolio management focusing on profitability
• Provide training and mentorship to underwriters
• Engage with broker partners to optimize outcomes
• Support transformational initiatives within the team
• Exercise sound judgment in underwriting challenges
Requirements:
• At least 7 years of experience in underwriting
• Degree or equivalent professional qualifications
• Enrollment in CIP and/or FCIP is beneficial
