This is a 2‑year rotation suitable for doctors wishing to consolidate their skills in acute & general medicine, cardiology training and exposure to NHS practices.

This is a full‑time post. The first year will be spent at Alexandra Hospital Redditch. The role involves a general medicine on call and provides ample training opportunities for the PACES exam. The post holder will have training in general cardiology with 2 supervised cardiology clinics a week, echocardiography, other non‑invasive tests, ambulatory BP and ECGs, cardiac event monitors; permanent pacemaker implantation and cardiac catheterisation sessions. At Alexandra Hospital there is a strong interest in heart failure and atrial fibrillation management.
