Senior Civil Engineer

Our client, a leading consultancy in the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in one of their offices located in Birmingham, Bristol, or Reading. The role involves taking a leading position in delivering a varied range of schemes including both small highway improvements and large residential and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver access junctions including roundabouts, signalised junctions, ghost‑island right turns, and simple priority junctions
• Work on a varied portfolio of infrastructure projects ranging from small‑scale developments to projects involving up to 5000 residential units with supporting infrastructure
• Provide technical expertise and support while ensuring designs are compliant with current legislation, best practice, and council policies
• Mentor junior team members and provide support on project delivery
