Our client, a major Mechanical / Electrical Construction company is looking to hire a Senior Buyerfor their Head Office in Dublin city centre. Key Responsibilities: Lead scheduled procurement meetings with project teams on key projects: Develop project specific procurement strategies, ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are met and monitor supplier performance. Lead the procurement of key projects both domestic & international, through sourcing, negotiation, pricing, technical compliance, and supplier selection, leveraging volume discounts and long-term partnerships while managing risks associated with supply continuity. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting business reviews, negotiating framework and rebate agreements, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
