Senior Back End Engineer with SNMP and NETCONF

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Back End Engineer with SNMP and NETCONF for a full-time position (40 hours per week). Our client is a quantum computing hardware and software company.

You'll design and build the data ingestion stack that feeds the agentic framework. You will own the edge collector that runs on a Linux appliance close to the customer's network: protocol integrations, normalization, light pre-processing, and the contracts that hand telemetry off to the upstream pipeline. It is the role of those who decide what the rest of the platform sees and how quickly.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in building production backend or systems software, with substantial time on network-adjacent products.
• Hands-on, production experience with SNMP, NETCONF, and gRPC/ gNMI. You have shipped a collector or agent that talks to real network devices, not a lab prototype.
