Senior Associate, Tax Litigation

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior associates in tax disputes
• Prepare drafting of notices of objection and representations to tax authorities
• Manage litigation efforts in resolving tax disputes
• Provide legal opinions regarding tax consequences of transactions
• Develop client acquisition and relationship management strategies

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in income tax, sales tax, and other tax areas
• Proven track record in managing complex tax litigation cases
• Deep understanding of Canada’s income tax, sales tax, and other Canadian tax systems
• A member in good standing of the Law Society of your province of residence
• Proficiency in both French and English
