Vacancy Description
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a B. Sc. Degree in Agriculture or related field
- Minimum 25 years experience in agronomy/field crops (cereals preferred)
- Must have experience with farmer extension, demo plots, and/or trials
- Familiarity with agro-chemicals, farm equipment, and local production systems is advantageous
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data capture tools
- Fluent in English; proficiency in a local language will be advantageous
- Must have a valid drivers license (motorcycle); regular field travel will be required
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and executing variety trials, ensuring the execution of demo plots, and managing and developing trial protocols.
