Senior Accounting Associate – Toronto, ON (Contract)

Purpose: The Senior Accounting Associate will report directly into the Accounting Manager and provide exemplary customer service to external clients and administrative support to internal clients by performing all duties professionally and efficiently.

Role Responsibilities

• Month end close involvement, including journal entries, depreciation, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversight and involvement within all AR processes including invoicing, receipting, credit control and collections evaluations.
• Oversight and involvement within all AP processes including invoice review, cash flow evaluation, payment issuance, credit card transaction processes.
• Maintain and develop internal control framework.
