Position Overview

The accountant position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive system of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
• Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions.
• Enter accounts payable bills and credit card transactions when needed.
• Perform month‑end closing and reconciliation.
• Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information.
• Perform bank reconciliation.
• Support department peers as needed.
