Senior Accountant Ml (Colombia)

Job description: Under general direction, the Senior Accountant performs professional accounting duties and analysis of financial data in support of various accounting functions that may include Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, Property Accounting, and/or General Accounting.

Responsabilities

• Maintain and review general ledger activity on a monthly basis and prepare monthly account analyses focusing on revenue and payroll for the commercial division.
• Serve as point person for day-to-day inquiries and reporting needs focusing on revenue and payroll for commercial division.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions between parent and subsidiaries, as necessary
• Prepare supporting documents, as needed
• Ensure accounting transactions are in compliance with GAAP
• Communicate and handle GL inquiries from the commercial division as relates to revenue and payroll.
