Tax Senior Accountant (Portugal)

We are hiring a Statutory & Tax Senior Accountant to join a multinational company in the FMCG sector. This role focuses on statutory reporting and tax compliance within a dynamic and international environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements under Portuguese GAAP (SNC)
• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance (IRC, VAT and other obligations)
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
• Monitor changes in local accounting and tax regulations
• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards
• Work closely with local and international stakeholders

• Minimum 5 years of experience in statutory accounting and tax
