Senior Accountant

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Record to Report (RTR) or Controller Senior Accountant is to deliver quality accounting services for Warner Bros. Discovery entities.

Location: Mexico City. This role reports directly to the Manager – Record to Report or the Manager- Controller for Argentina and Chile, based in Mexico City.

Accountabilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, reconcile GL accounts, issue IC invoices and other month-end related standard and ad‑hoc activities.
• Act as first reviewer or prepare complex accruals and other manual journal entries with supporting documentation ensuring evidence of control and approval.
• Analyze monthly activity of assigned accounts; identify and highlight relevant variances in QTD and YTD analysis and provide preliminary explanations for those variances.
