Senior Accountant, Accounts Receivable - WMATA

Long-term WMATA Accounts Receivable contract role. Manage AR processes including invoicing, collections, cash application, reconciliation, sub-ledger accuracy, and month-end/year-end close support. Partner with finance and accounting leadership on reporting and audit support. WMATA uses PeopleSoft Finance and is transitioning to Oracle Cloud ERP. Requirements Experience with PeopleSoft Finance and/or Oracle Cloud ERP is the primary requirement, given WMATA's active migration. Senior-level accounts receivable or general accounting experience strongly preferred. Accounting, finance, public-sector, government, or transit accounting experience is a plus. Contract via FCG; 1099, C2C, or W2 engagement available. Rate-based submission subject to WMATA approval.
