SEND Teaching Assistant

Provide Education are seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND School in Retford.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To support pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2.
• To work in the classroom as well as outside on site.
• To manage behaviour of children with ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs.
• Improve the quality of learning and foster the participation of students in setting with the social, emotional and mental health, personal development.
• To liaise with other professionals and work on a ratio of 2 students to 3 members of staff.
• To support students with emotional regulation and their behaviours.
• Use the relevant behaviour systems.
• To communicate with parents and carers when necessary.
• To record progress sessions.
