If you're a teacher who believes education should prepare young people for life, not just exams, this could be the role for you.
You'll support young people aged 16–25 with EHCPs (including learners with autism, ADHD or a learning disability) to build the skills, confidence and qualifications they need to progress into paid employment. Every day is different, combining classroom learning with practical employability and independent living skills that genuinely change lives.
This isn't a traditional teaching role. You'll have the freedom to be creative, adapt your teaching to each learner and work alongside Job Coaches and a supportive team who are passionate about helping young people succeed.
What you'll be doing
Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
Plan engaging, practical lessons that prepare learners for work and independent living.
Build learners' confidence, communication, and employability skills.
