Summary The Smithsonian Institution is the world's largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo. This position is located within the Office of Protective Service (OPS), Undersecretary of Administration, Smithsonian Institution (SI). Responsibilities The Security Officer oversees a large complex security program that provides protection for all SI controlled and managed facilities. This position also manages the physical security program for one or more SI facilities.
