LOCATION: 185th ARW, Sioux City, Iowa Responsibilities As a SECURITY GUARD (Indefinite, May Become Permanent), GS-0085-5 your duties are below. The incumbent controls access, directs traffic, and checks identification of those persons entering and leaving Federal or State Military Reservation property from a number of assigned areas throughout the state. Detects and reports suspicious activity or situations. Reports all matters, which involve the security and safety of personnel or the protection of property. May be required to direct traffic, maintain roadblocks, block off areas and parking lots for special occasions, or as a measure of traffic control.
