EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Curriculum Facilitator, having both content and instructional expertise, will work as a colleague with classroom teachers to lead and support curriculum development and implementation. The Curriculum Facilitator will follow the board policy regarding the curriculum cycle process. The Curriculum Facilitator will focus on increasing and improving high school science instruction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Adheres to Board policies, District procedures, and contractual obligations.
Works collaboratively with high school science teachers to develop and implement curricular materials and assessments that support instruction aligned to the Iowa Core Standards.
Develops and delivers professional development that aligns the content and instruction of the high school science curriculum.
